GOODS IN TRANSIT INSURANCE
- In the SILVER membership package you get:
Goods in Transit insurance cover up to £3000
This benefit is to cover you for loss of samples plus any goods you may carry on a daily basis in connection with your agency. You may find your car has been broken into whilst visiting a customer and had the balance of your samples/stock stolen. Some of the principals that you represent may be happy to replace stolen samples - many are not and you are liable.
- With the GOLD membership package the benefit is increased to:
Goods in Transit insurance cover up to £3000
Insurance for goods/samples in the home/garage up to for £3000
Insurance cover for your computer/office machines up to £3000
House contents insurance does not normally cover you for samples/ office equipment. Negotiating this kind of insurance is next to impossible on an individual basis. A significant number of APSA members have had samples/stock stolen and have benefited from this insurance cover.
